Welcome, Friend
Barefoot Ken
My career spans Army, Wall Street, and Corporate America. But somewhere along the way, I discovered that what I want is more nature and life outdoors. More mountains and forests and grasslands and deserts. More trails.

As a writer, my job is to share my stories in case they're helpful to others. Maybe you.
Causes
I serve as a volunteer and board member for the NY-NJ Trail Conference, a volunteer organization that builds and maintains over 2,000 miles of public hiking trails in New York and New Jersey.

I also serve as a board member and chair for Run Wild, Inc, a 501(c)3 whose mission is to support land conservation and stewardship in the Hudson Valley by organizing running races and through other fundraising activities.

Other New York-based causes I support include Mohonk Preserve, Open Space Institute, and Wallkill Valley Land Trust.
